Waynetown Christian Union Church
Christian Union Church --Waynetown
The day before the end of the year in 1867, a meeting held at the Wesley Church functioned at an organization of the Christian Union Cnhurch. This church was built on Road 60-0 West, one mile south of State Road 136. In 1938, under the leadership of Oliver Schendck, Edgar Henthorn and Carroll Barnett, the churchmen built a basement with a furnace, kitchen and class rooms. Various improvements were made and the church is quite active in present-day (2014 - thanks Eva)
