Elmdale Baptist Church - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Elmdale, Ind May 12 – The Baptist Church at this place was entirely destroyed about 3 o’clock Thursday morning. The origin of the fire is unknown but it is believed to have been of incendiary character. The church was a wooden structure and was built about 13 years ago. For some time past the church had not been used there being no pastor there. It is not known as to whether or not insurance was carried on the church.
