Organized March 17, 1831 at the farm of William Young west of Shannondale - Rev. Clairborn Young, presiding. Dedicated as "Rock Church," the Bethel Presbyterian Church.
Also included in the slide show below is a photo from 1920 from the CDPL Archives take by David Shannon. Georgia Shannon marr Charles V. Jones 7 April 1921, she played the piano for the church from age 10 on - and never used music just played by ear.
