Cemetery Inscriptions of Orange County, Indiana
"Dedicated to the memory of the pioneers of Orange County,
who came here when this land was a wilderness;
who blazed the trails and hewed homes out of the forests
and have left to us a goodly heritage."

--Original Dedication of DAR Cemetery Records

This page contains links to 235 cemtery transcriptions compiled by the Lost River Chapter of the DAR and others.  The DAR work was initiated in the 1940's, so most inscription data does not go beyond that time.
Many of those DAR records were transcribed by individuals who kindly donated their hard work to this page. These records are noted with the names of those who contributed.
Updated January 2015 to include all known transcriptions, and is considered complete until additional data is available. Patoka Memorial Cemetery updated January 2018 to include photos all sections.
