Paoli Township Section 34, T 2N R1W. Used.

Newberry Friend's Meeting was set up in 1826. It belongs to Lick Creek Monthly Meeting. The first meeting house stood on land that was entered by William Holliday and was on the Indian boundary line running south from Freeman's Corner near Orleans. Later, land was bought from Alexander Clark and Henry Towell. There are many old graves which are unmarked. A section of this cemetery was allotted to the use of colored people. On State Road 150, two miles west of Paoli.

The following is a transcript of data recorded by the Lost River Chapter of the DAR in the 1940's and remains their property.  This page may be freely copied for your personal use but may not be reproduced in any public media without permission
