From
DAR files....Four graves are reported to have been on the Foster farm
northeast of Newton Stewart. One of the burials said to be a son of
William P. Foster who had come from eastern Kentucky shortly before the
civil war. In this vicinity lived the family of a Captain North. There
were seven North children, some of whom died of diptheria, and were
buried on the farm. The unfenced cemetery contained two graves. Copyright © Charlie Tredway and Orange County INGenWeb. This page may be freely copied for your personal use, but it may not be reproduced in any public media without permission. |
