Lowe Cemetery
Greenfield Township
Section 7  T1S  R1W
Lat 38º 26' 22" N  Lomg 86º 34' 11" W

Well located on high ground in the south west quarter of the section, near the Lowe school house, which is on the former Lynden Lowe farm.
John, Thomas, Robert
and Alexander Parks all owned farms in this section.  Cemetery is on land which belonged to Thomas.  The Parks
families came from Kentucky.  The last owner of the cemetery tract was W. R. Grimes.  This he deeded for a public burying ground when the
farm was sold in 1937.  Several stones have evidently been placed at old graves in recent years.  Oldest marked grave is that of Samuel Parks
who died in 1831.  Several graves have only field stone markers.
