Knight Cemetery

Reinterred November 9-10, 1976
From DAR records...."Located on land entered by Andrew Knight. He was a prosperous man and bought up several tracts of land in this locality. His son Robert, who died in 1917, was the last person buried here. All but one stone are crudely cut sandstone. Daniel Knight, a son of Andrew, is said to have had 7 wives, all of whom are buried here. Abagail Knight, daughter of Andrew, was murdered January, 1882 and is buried here."

In addition to the 25 burials shown below, there are 29 others whose identities are unknown and identified with a ground level stone marked with a plot number only. Many are now covered with grass and  not apparent without exploration. Where no photo is shown, DAR records and reinterrment records have been used for reference.
