A committee who didn't know a pair of roller skates from a clothes wringer decided who was the best skater at the rink last night. They gambled over the best man and Howard Craig won a pair of handsome sleeve buttons as the champion.

- Work on the new rink, corner of Market & Green Streets, the old Sloan Corner has begun. The company is composed of P.C. Sommerville; F.L. Snyder and Albert Miller. The rink will be ready for use in 3 weeks and will be a fine one. - typed by kbz
