Notice is hereby given that the undersigned commissioner will sell at private sale at the office of Chase Harding, Citizens National Bank, Crawfordsville, Indiana on the 23rd day of July 1921 and from day to day thereafter until sold, the following described property belonging to the Surviving Partnership estate of Vaughan & Casey as follows. Parcel A – The bottling works, plant and equipment – exclusive of the real estate occupied but including all lease rights in such real estate and including the account receivable, trade contracts and trade contracts and conducted at Lafayette, Indiana including all machinery, trucks, equipment, supplies and property of every kind pertaining to such plant. Parcel B – The bottling works, plant and equipment located at Crawfordsville, Indiana conducted in the name of and commonly known as Vaughan & Casey plant and business; including the coal yards (not the real estate), wagons, trucks, horses and equipment of every kind and nature as well as the bottling works’ trucks, machinery, equipment, supplies and property; including also the accounts receivable, raw materials and merchandise on hand and the good will and established trade, trade contracts, franchises and privileges; not including the real estate heretofore belonging to National Fruit Juice Company and recently conveyed by it to Ella A. Vaughan; and not including the real restate known as the Carroll and Harris Lots, now used as coal yards by such firm and business. Parcel C – the lots used as coal yards in the city of Crawfordsville, Indiana commonly known as the Carroll Harris lots described as follows: Part of Lots Numbered One Hundred and Thirty-five (135) and One Hundred and Thirty-six (136) as the same are known and designated on the Original Plat of the town (now city) of Crawfordsville, Indiana bounded as follows: beginning at a point 38 feet north of the southwest corner of Lot #135 and running thence North 44 and 1//2 feet; thence East 165 feet; then South 44 and ½ feet; thence West One Hundred and Sixty-five (165( feet to the place of the beginning. Also, part of lot numbered 136 in the Original Plat of the town (now city) of Crawfordsville, Indiana described as follows: beginning at the Northeast corner of said lot; thence West along the South margin of Spring Street 37 feet and 9”; thence South 83 feet and six inches; thence East 37 feet and eight inches; thence North 83 and ½ feet to the place of beginning. Parcel D – The lot in Alamo, Montgomery County, Indiana commonly known as the Kramer lot described as follows: 26 feet in a strip of even width off of the North ends of Lots 7 and 8 in Block Numbered 12 as the same is known and designated on the Original Plat of the town of Alamo. Parcel E – the property on North Green Street in the city of Crawfordsville, Indiana commonly designated as the Law building, described as follows: 70[ in a strip of even width off of the entire North ends of Lots 133 and 134as the same are known and designated on the original plat of the town (now City) of Crawfordsville, Indiana. Parcel F – the tract of land in Montgomery County, Indiana commonly known as the Stump land described as follows: Part of the Northwest quarter of Section 34 in township 18 North, Range 5 in township 18 North Range 5West beginning at Southeast corner of said quarter sections then North 23 chains and 50 links; then West 20 chains thence 23 chains and 50 links; thence East 20 chains to the place of beginning continuing 47 acres more or less. Parcel G – the lot in Whitesville, Montgomery County, Indiana commonly known as the Auman lot, described as Lot # 2 in David Thompson’s Addition to Whitesville. Parcel H – the tract in the town of Darlington, Montgomery County, Indiana commonly known as the Alston property described as follows: part of the West half of the Northeast quarter of Section 8 in township 19 north Range 3 West, bounded as follows: beginning at a point 133 feet West of the SW corner of Lot #5 of Block #5 of the Original Plat of the town of Darlington and running thence West 27 and ½ feet; thence North 132 feet; thence East 27 and ½ feet and thence South 132 feet to the place of beginning. Parcels A and B will be sold for Cash. The remaining parcels will be sold giving the purchaser the option to pay all cash or pay 1/3 in cash and the balance in two equal installments, payable 6 and 12 months from date sale is confirmed, giving notes bearing 7% interest and Attorney’s Fees, secured by first purchase money mortgage upon the parcels purchased. Purchaser will pay all taxes on the property purchased, payable in the year 1922 and thereafter. Otherwise said properties will be sold clear and proper title showing furnished. Such properties constitute the assets of the surviving partnership of Vaughn & Casey representing a going prosperous enterprise; they will be sold either by parcels or by combination of parcels or as a whole, as may bring the best price.
