Fred Maxwell has on his farm six miles northwest of Waveland, 22 head of baby beeves which averaged 450 # when he purchased them at Indianapolis last October. He wintered them entirely on ensilage and has been feeding some corn since turning them on grass. They have shown a nice gain as they will now average 900#. He has 28 head of shoats following them.
