Ladoga, Jan 16 – The stock of the Ladoga Telephone company which was owned by the estate of Henry Allen Foster was purchased Tuesday by Sarah F. Stanley and reconstruction work will start at once on the system wrecked by the heavy sleet storm. The heavy loads of poles and wires are a total loss and will have to be rebuilt with entirely new material. This will be very expensive and will require much excess labor especially at this season of the year. They will reestablish telephone service as soon as possible with favorable weather. It is hoped to have the rural district connected in three or four months. ~~~transcribed by kbz
