Messrs. Tom S. Kelley and John A. Hughes, are today opening ujp their new store, the room lately occupied by Wm. Vancleave & Co in the Fisher Block with a full line of first-class Boots & Shoes. These men are well known by this people, and will make the trade kettle boil. They will have something to say to the public in next issue of the Star as to what they propose to do. -- kbz

The undersigned have opened out a first-class stock of Boots & Shoes in the east room of the Hughs block No 30, south side of Main Street in the city of Crawfordsville, where they will be pleased to see old customers and as many new ones as may wish to buy low for cash. They warrent all work sold except Slippers and a few low priced shoddy store shoes. They make good goods, a specialty, and are both practical shoe men therefore know what they are handling; in fact, TS Kelley has an experience of 45 years in the manufacture and sale of goods in this line.
