Geneva Jackson Appointed Librarian

At the meeting of the Library Board on Monday night, Mrs. Mial E. Lamb presented her resignation as Librarian to take effect July 1. Miss Geneva Jackson has been employed to take her place. Miss Jackson is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. GA Jackson. She is a graduate of the Clinton HS and had her preliminary training in the Clinton Library. She graduates May 1 from the Indianapolis CIty Librarians Training School. She will probably begin doing assistnat work about June 1. Mr. Lamb, who is now in France, is expected home in August. He went over with the 309th Engineerings in the 84th Division. He has been promoted at various times and is now Master Sr. Engineer. Before the return of the main body of the 84th he was detached for special duty and is now in charge of the main Salvage Depot at Montierchaumes.
