In settling up the Lew Fischer estate it is learned that he had at the time of his death $5,931.99 worth of personal property and $5,500 in real estate. He owed $8, 573.90. Isaac Davis bought the West Market street property for $2, 520 and John Schultz bought half of the block, corner of Green and Market in which is Manson’s grocery, for $2,250. Mr. Schultz owned the other half. After settling up the estate Mrs. Fischer will have half of the store room in which is Skis Galey’s saloon and a piece of resident property besides four vacant lots on South Elm Street. - transcribed by kbz
