Carson Bushong Rabbits Bill Williams is a rabbit enthusiast. He and Carson Bushong have 40 Chinchillas down at the Bushong farm. They have been offered $5 per head for all that are 8 months old for breeding stock. As they multiply rapidly it looks like there might be good money in them. The pelts sell for $2.50 each and the meat sells readily at 20 cents per pound. The Chinchillas do not shed their hair like wild rabbits. There are 5 colors on each hair which makes it impossible to imitate. We understand that if as many as 200 will go into the business we could get a fur-buying and packing house to locate here.
