35 years ago Louis Bischof started his business career in Crawfordsville. Starting in a small way the succeeding years have seen the business grow and expand until now the Louis Bischof Big Store is one of the largest and best in central Indiana. Mr. Bischof began business in a small room on Washington Street employing 3 clerks. By close attention to business, courteous treatment and fair dealing the business grew by leaps & bounds until now he is at the head of a store occupying five floors and employing 100 people. In addition to his manifold business interests, Mr. Bischof has always given of his time and money to the best interests of Crawfordsville and to its commercial progress.
