Binford, George - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

This week George Binford connected his cigar store with the telegraph office with a new-fangled telephone and vainly talked himself hoarse in an effort to get a message over the wire. He finally received an answer from the other end of the line by sending a boy after it on a velocipede.
