I do not know if this is the right DRAKE family, however in the 1850 Wabash Co census, I found a Thomas Z. Drake with wife, Zilphia A. and they had a son, John Drake, age 13, born c1837. I have had a lost John Drake and am hoping this is ours. I am hoping someone can trace the Thomas Drake family for me? Thomas Drake bc 1806; Zilphia Drake bc 1802; Eliz bc 1828; John bc 1837; Charles bc 1842; Mary A. bc 1844; Thos born NJ & Zilphia b New York. Thank you.

I'm trying to find where William CAIN(born 1832 in Ohio) and Elizabeth RALSTON(born 1939 in Ohio) are buried and when they died.They were married in Miami County Feb 28,1856, and moved to Wabash County.
They lived in Waltz twp in the 1880's.
Also I'm looking for Wms Parents, Francis F. CAIN(born 1784 in NY) His wife's name is Elizabeth (Unknown) born in MD in1794. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much...

Information obtained several years ago from another researcher indicates that Richard SUTTON b. 22 Dec. 1822 and d. 15 Sept. 1906 is buried in Falls Cemetery, Wabash,IN. His father, Amos SUTTON,(no death date given) is also supposedly buried there. Does anyone have records of either or both of these burials?

I'm looking for obit's for John MORRISON who was married to Hannah (Barton) Morrison. He was born abt 1796 and died after 1852. Reported to have lived, died and been buried in Belden, In. He was a farmer and a preacher. He lived in Wells County in 1850 and in Delaware County during the 1830's. He also had a son John Morrison who was a farmer and preacher who lived in Wabash County at the time of the 1860, 1870, 1880 census, then moved to Kansas.

Looking for informatin on Charles M. JONES and his brother, Henry Ward JONES. They operated Union Mills for many years. Henry died in Indianapolis on the 25 June 1930 and was buried in Matlock Cemetery with wife Ida. Charles had died prior to Henry. Would like to know when Charles died and where he is buried. Charles was born 29 Jul 1857, in Grant Co, IN. and is the son of Henry Ward JONES and Jane VERTRESS, he married Olie (Olive?), and had children, Addie, Carl and Mamseia (?). WOLMA, Charles G. b. after 1894? d. between 1941 and 1943 in Wabash in an industrial accident. Was hit in the stomach by a large machine weight, died in the hospital. At one time he was a free lance photographer and was in China during a rebellion in 1936-37. I am sure he died and was buried in the Wabash Co. area. I would like to know his birth and death date and where he is buried. If there is an obit available I would appreciate the information included on that. Thank you for your help.

In the 1900 census of Pleasant Township of Wabash Co, IN, a Jerry CARN, 63, is listed as head of household with his wife Elizabeth, age 63 and a Emma GARRETT who is 14 years old. I suspect Emma is the child of a Thomas Jefferson Garrett of Wabash Co, IN and the Carn family is kin to these Garretts. Both of the Carn's listed indicate they were born in Pennsylvania. Emma was said to have been born in IN. Any information greatly appreciated.
