My ancestor Lavina Judith (STARBUCK) and her husband James Franklin SLUSSER lived in Wabash County from at least 1871 until her death on June 5, 1881. Her youngest son William Orin Slusser was born May 29, 1881. My mother searched some years ago to find the cemetery where Lavina was buried, without success. Any help would be appreciated.

I just discovered my great great grandparents names: Elizabeth RANCK and John APPLEMAN. She was born in Indiana, Wabash I think. She married John Appleman and they had a daughter, Bessie Harriet Appleman b. September 9, 1875. Bessie was also born in Wabash, Indiana. Seeking descendants of Reuben EIKENBARY and Sarah GILL. Reuben died October 8, 1919 in Wabash County, Indiana. I am descended from his brother Samuel Eikenbary and Mary ALBAUGH. They are buried in the Mississinewa Cemetery as is Reuben. Particularly looking for descendants of Reuben's son Edward. He had daughters Mildred EATON and Mrs. William SIMMONS. I am looking for Alex GOODPASTURE and wife Mary JONES. They married 27 Nov 1856 in Wabash County. They had Sarah b. 1858; Charles b. 1859; Jessee b. Dec 1860 and married a Rosa; Soloman b. 1866 and married Grace JOHNSON; Garl ("G" not "C") b. 1868; Patrick b. Dec 1871; Martha b. Sep 1877 and married W.G. FREEL; and four unknown children. The death certificate of my great grandfather, Samuel Oscar STEWART, indicates that he was born 31 June 1864 in Wabash County, IN to parents Samuel S. STEWART (born Ohio) and Elizabeth JAMES (born Indiana). However, having looked through the entire county in the censuses of 1860 and 1870, I have been unable to find the family, although there were a number of Stewarts from Ohio. I would be grateful for any further information.

I am looking for any information about George Franklin GRAY and wife Anabell who lived in Wabash County during the 1920's or 1930's, later moving to Andrews in Huntington Co. They were farmers, and lived on Route 24 about 2 miles east of Lagro. They had 5 children: Howard, Forrest, Raymond, Elsie Gray FISHER, and Ada Gray HENNESY. George died in Huntington Co, 1953, and Annabell died in 1958. Anything at all would be appreciated.
