I am attempting to determine the parentage of Levi L. COX who was born 9Jun1823 in Indiana, county unknown. He married Margaret MOORE 7Sep1844 in Wabash Co., IN and had 11 children. They lived in Wabash Co. until ca.1864-1867, whereupon they moved to Fulton Co., IN where Levi died ca.1Mar1869.
Children: daughter Cox (1846-1846) Fernando G. Cox (1848-1852) Arthur Miller Cox (1850/1-1869) Mary Ann Cox (1853-1892) m. Wm Phillebaum Melvina Cox (1854/5-1912) m.George W. Jones Russell Cox (1857-1946) m. Sara L. Miller Eli Carver Cox (1859-1935) m(1) Catherine Hoff m(2) Sarah Jane Johnson John W. Cox (1861-1928) m. Abigail "Abby" Martha Jane "Mattie" Cox (1864-1948) m. Alvah Stoops Lucy Ella "Ella" Cox (1867-1953) m. Jacob "Jake" C. Shoemaker [unknown female] Cox (died in infancy)
Possible siblings to Levi:
Aaron Y. Cox (b.ca.1835/6, IN - county unknown)
Peraba Cox (b.ca.1840/1, IN - county unknown) married Jefferson Ray 7Jul1856, Wabash Co.IN. Peraba's name may actually be "Feraba" or "Theaba".
Aaron and Peraba were residing with Levi Cox in the 1850 Census of Wabash Co., but they are too old to be children of Levi and Margeret, so I presume they are either siblings or other close relatives.
Other possible siblings to Levi (based on circumstantial evidence) John V. Cox (b.1828, IN - county unknown; d.28Feb1892, Wabash Co., IN)
Samuel T. Cox (b.9Sep1832, IN - county unknown; d.29May1909, Wabash Co.,IN)

Would like to converse with or know about anyone who has any connection with the family of Moses Thomas SPRAY b. 8-28-1819 in Ohio and d. 8-7-1887 in Wabash, Indiana. He is buried in the Quaker cemetery on Mill Pike Road located on the south side of the Wabash River and just a few miles southwest of the town of Wabash. His grave is marked with a newer type stone put there just a few years ago so someone in the Wabash area probably knows about his grave and his last years. I am a great great granddaughter of his through his daughter Caroline Spray. Caroline was b. 9-20-1846 and d. 12-22-1928 in Howard County, Indiana and buried with her husband,Cyrus LEE, in the Friends cemetery at New London, Indiana. Their son, Manford Lee was my grandfather.
Other children of Moses Spray and his wife, Mary Tamar HUFF, are Matilda Spray, b.6-8-1845 and d. 8-9-1873 buried in New London Friends cemetery by her mother Mary Tamar Huff who was b. 2-7-1821 in Wayne Co., Indiana and d. 1-17-1869 in Russiaville, Indiana. Mary Malinda Spray b. 1-16-1850 and married Albert MOSS in Howard County, Indiana.
Emily Jane Spray b. 6-2-1848 and d. 6-3-1912 who married Rev. Benjamin Hanson HUTCHINS who's first wife had passed away. Emily is buried in the Amboy cemetery and her grave is marked with a large red granite stone. It is located on the north side of the cemetery and in about 10 or 12 rows from the road. Her husband, the Rev. Hutchins, is not buried with her but is buried with his first wife in another cemetery near Indianapolis. He was a Quaker minister.
It is possible that someone around Wabash knows the Rev. Hutchins family and about his second wife, daughter of Moses Spray. I would appreciate any information on those in the Wabash area, or anywhere else, who knows anything about relations or friends of Moses Spray and their descendents.

On the Wabash Co., IN., 1850 census, there is a Virden DUTTON listed. Virden died in 1851 and is buried in Wasbash Co. but his family is still there on the 1860 Wabash Co., IN., census. Several of his children are married in Wabash Co., IN., prior to all of the family moving to Neosho Co., KS. Virden and his wife, Hannah CAREY, were married in 1829 in Sussex Co., DE., moved about 1834 to Marion Co., OH., and subsequently moved to Wabash Co. IN., before 1850. Hannah Dutton and her children moved to Neosho Co., KS., about 1868. I have found all of her children except the eldest son, John. The last record of John is in 1852 when he makes a statement on his sister's marriage record. I am looking for information about John Dutton. Where did he go? There is no record of his death in Wabash Co., IN.
