Blue Grass Marker 

Blue Grass Society Marker: In 1824 the Blue Grass Society was formed by the Hillyard, McJohnson, Elliott, McCutchan, Wheeler, Riggs and Harrison Families. They built a hand-hewn log church 20 x 24 feet on this site in 1834 thus founding Blue Grass Methodist Church.

McCutchan, William   Died Dec 14, 1843, In the 43 year of his age.
