Both are sons of George and Elisabeth (which is Katherine E Kick) Westphalinger . The family immigrated from Germany on 8 Mar 1866 on the Ship Borussia. George and Katherine E are buried in Ridgway, Gallatin Co, IL @Asbury Church.

Heinrich Westphalinger (brother) married into the Papenmeiers and moved to Inman IL. So the book states, he walked into Inman, IL and set up the first blacksmith shop. Both buried in Ridgway, Gallatin Co, IL @Asbury Church along with all their children minus one.

Louise westphalinger married a Doerner and moved to the White County IL, buried somewhere in Norris City.

Katherine Westphalinger married Windhaus and ended up in Texas.
