Brick Chapel United Methodist Church Holy Week Wednesday services will be held at 7:30 p.m. April 18.  Rev. Mode Powell Jr. will be the evangelist.  Debbie Woody and the Brick Chapel Quartette will provide special music.  On Thursday April 19th Rev. Mode Powell Jr. the evangelist. Paul Evans will play piano and the Brick Chapel Choir will sing portions of a Easter Cantata entitled, Alive.  Saraellen Peters is the director.

The Commission on Education of Brick Chapel Church is sponsoring an Appreciation Open House at the Church Sunday evening at 7.  All youth returning to college and all HS graduates in 1964 from the community are cordially invited to be guests. The church desires in this way to pay tribute to them.  The Snack Supper will be available at 7 p.m.  Families attending are asked to share in the event by bringing something for the supper and table service for the family.  Every one in the community is invited.

The Brick Chapel Methodist Church will be host Sunday afternoon to the youth of the Southeast subdistrict of the Terre Haute District. The meeting will begin with a brief Hymn Sing led by the song leaders: Patty Hayes and Paula Middledorf of Brazil.  During the worship services the following youth will assist: Penney Pierce of Brazil, Janet Burger of Reelsville, Judy Anderson of Bainbridge, Frank Pichett of Fillmore and Ann Dozer of Gobin Church. The messages of the worship service will be given by Rev. Loveland. The title of the messages is “Out-growing of Baby Things.”  The recreation period will be in charge of Becky Bue and her committee.  Some time will be spent in games and fellowship.  More than 100 are expected from the following Methodist Churches: Bainbridge; Bethel of Brazil; Brazil First; Carbon; Clinton Falls; Epworth of Brazil, Fillmore, Gobin Memorial of Greencastle; Harmony, Knightsville, Lena, Reelsville, Canaan, Raccoon, Peniel of Brazil, Staunton and Union Chapel.

Somerset Church extends an invitation to the congregation of the Brick Chapel Methodist Church for a Father’s Day program as well as Sunday School and Church service on Sunday June 19th. Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m.
