I am looking for information on my great grandfather Wilson HOOVER (b 1861 d 1947) who is buried in New Salem Church of the Brethren cemetery near Milford, IN. He grew up on a farm near Sidney and lived, as an adult, in Milford. He married Sarah Eliza WAGNER (date ?) and had thirteen children (William, Claude, Glen [1896-1969 my grandfather], George, Rosco, Lela, Margaret, Ruth, Avonda, Velora, Louise, Cleo, and Charlotte). I am interested in any information regarding his place of birth, parents names (dates of birth, marriage, death, etc.)

I am looking for information on the family of my great grandmother, Lydia (possibly Eliza) WAGNER. She was born 1865, Kosciusko Co, and died 1920, Kosciusko Co. She is buried in New Salem Church of the Brethren Cemetery, near Milford. She married Wilson HOOVER 16 January 1886, Kosciusko Co, and they had 13 children. I am looking for information on the family of my grandmother Stephanie MNICHOWSKI. She was born 14 June 1900, Kosciusko Co, IN and died 27 February 1985, St. Joseph Co, IN. Children: Jefferson b 1846, Jane b 1849, William b 1852, Malenda/Malinda b 1855, Wesley b 1862, and Samuel b 1861. Robert had a brother, Daniel b ca 1818 PA, married Catherine GLASS, emigrated to Marshall Co, IN about the same time. Children: Selano b 1860, Margaret b 1845, Nancy b 1847, Elizabeth b 1856, Catherine b 1860, Adam b 1863, and (?) b 1864. Daniel and family lived on the Marshall/Kosciusko County lines and crossed back and forth. Any information would be helpful.

I am attmepting to find any information regarding a Samuel STIFFLER who was in Co. G 48th Ind. Vol. I am told by my father that Samuel was married to a Catherine JONES (?) and that he survived the Civil War. Samuel and Catherine had 2 children as follows: Frank STIFFLER (?) - No information known and George Washington STIFFLER - born 5 Mar 1862. After the death of Samuel, Catherine married a man with a last name of HOOVER. Sometime between 1865 and 1884, George moved to Belle Plaine Iowa where on 2 Sept 1884, he was married to Emily Etta WRIGHT. Any information that could be supplied to assist in confirming any of the above information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am researching my Evans Heritage. John & Bessy or Elizabeth EVANS known to live in Kosciusko Cnty. 1800's. Their children were: Fawntella, Jaquetta and Charles. John fought in Civil War. Was captured and sent to Libby or Andersonville. Also a Native American Scout(not on their side). Fawntella had two boys Lovate and Fatle or another spelling. The family also took in a baby boy named Maxwell b. 12/25/1897. Johns' nickname was PAPPY.
