I am searching for my Grandma Ida Huff Hemmelgarn's relatives. All I know is her dad's name was Urdney Huff and her mom's name was Rachel (Jenny) Dewart Huff. We are also related to the the Vancurens in some way. I am also told that Jenny's dad found Dewart Lake, but I have no information on him.

I am looking for information about the ancestors of Amos HIMES and his wife Clara WATTS who are in Jefferson Twp, Kosciusko County in 1840 through 1860. They disappear before 1870 but 4 of their children return to Kosciusko by 1880, probably after having been in IL (where daughters Margaret and Clara married two brothers Lewis and Daniel BAUGHMAN in Pike Co in 1867 and 1869, respectively). Also interested in the whereabouts of this BAUGHMAN family before 1867.

My 2g grandfather was Daniel MARKLEY m to Elizabeth MISHLER. Daniel's father George MARKLEY (d 8 Aug 1881) is buried at the North Webster Cemetery. Next to George is a Benjamin MARKLEY. My great-grandmother, Nodiah Alfaretta (or Alfretta Nadia; my Mom and my aunt can't remember which) SHERMAN was born on 5/8/1867 in Warsaw, IN. Her parents were William SHERMAN (b. ?, d. 1920) and Lydia BURKETT. Lydia was born in either Indiana or Ohio (again, they can't remember which) on 5/27/1846 and died in Darlow, KS, on 6/27/1933.
