Rev. Clyde Rothrick, an Evangelist, will tell his life’s story in the Methodist Church in Veedersburg Friday Oct 1 (tonight) at 8 p.m.  The Evangelist tells in an interesting and stirring manner how he lost his sight when a young man in the west and how God has blessed and kept him through the years.  He says, “There is no such word as can’t withing the realm of reason for the man who walks and talks with God.”  He will have with him on the platform his Braille Bible, Braille writer, slate, stylus and other things including his giant English Saint Bernard leader dog, Major.  This is a blue ribbon dog and a product of the Wallstark Kennels of Detroit and he shows his keenness as he guides his master from the platform to the door and back again.  Everyone is urged to attend this service.  ---transcribed by kbz
