Mellott New Light - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

W.L. Combs and a party from Mellott went to Ellettsville, Ind Tuesday to inspect the architecture of the Baptist church at that place. The members of the Mellott Newlight (New Light) church are planning to build a new church this season to cost $8,000 to $10,000 and they want to be sure of their plans. The Mellott party insisted of Mr. and Mrs William Messmore, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mosier, Rev. Bailey and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hoff, Uncle Ben Carpenter and George Housier. The party went down by automobile, took dinner and reported a fine time.
