Miss Miranda Hooker desires to give notice that she will commence a select school either in the brick building in the southwest part of town or in the school building in Christian Row in the southern part. Tuition as follows: Primary branches, $3.00; and the more advanced, $4.00. She will also teach any one of the following ornamental branches to every pupil so desiring gratuitously: Silk Embroidery with other and different kinds of Needle Work. Oriental Painting and Pencil Drawing – the student paying the contingent expects for the same. The school will begin perhaps the 6th of December.
