RAILROAD ACCIDENT

“We regret to learn that our fellow townsman, Washington Hadley; Mrs. Penfield and Miss Coffin, daughters of Hon. Wm. G. Coffin, were among the sufferers in a Railroad accident that occurred on the Hannibal & St. Joseph Railroad, 38 miles west of the last named place, on Thursday last.  Mr. Hadley, we learn, had his left arm broken, but was not otherwise injured. The ladies referred to, were somewhat injured, but we have not learned to what extent.”
