WHS - Loses 5 students The high school has lost 5 good students by removal. Miss Mary Ethel Golden was one of the best in school, her grades running 95% and above in all subjects. Mary was sec. of the Sophomore class and sang alto in the girls' quartet. Her father moved to the UG Vail farm E. of Russellville. Herman Reddish pres. of the Jr. class and Ronald Reddish, a Sr. were the other two. They had always gone to Russellville but came to Waveland when their house was burned. They reentered Russellville HS last week but came back here Thurs and Fri. to take examinations. These boys were both on the basketball team and had played in about all of the games so far. Their two smaller brothers, William and Clay also entered the Russellville School. We are sorry to lose all those good students. --kbz
