1901-1902: There were 26 schools in Union Township, not including Crawfordsville.

1904-1905: There were 26 schools in Union Township.  New market is listed as a seperate school unit since that district enrolled students from Scott, Brown and Union Townships.

1905-1906: New market is listed as a seperate school unit.

1908-1909: Roy A. Fraley Union Township instructor in Agriculture and botany.

1910-1911: Part of the students who attended New Marker School lived in Union Township.  Since New Marlet also had students from Brown Township and Scott Township, New Market is listed as a seperate school unit.

1911-1912:  Whitesville and Young's Chapel no longer maintained a high school.  New Market is listed as a seperate school unit.

1912-1913: There were 10 schools in Union Township, plus part of the New Market school.  Breaks and New Market were the only high schools in the Township.  New Market is listed seperately since they also enrolled students from Brown and Scott Townships.

1915-1916: E.E. Utterback is the Township Supervisor of pennmanship.

1917-1918: Township enrollment Grades 1-8 = 694

1918-1919: Township enrollment Grades 1-8 = 665

1919-1920: Township enrollment Grades 1-8 = 627

1920-1921:  There were 11 one-room schools remaining in the county, a total of 27 schools existed.  There were 12 high schools plus Crawfordsville High School.

1921-1922: 191 teachers were employed in the county schools,  23 employed in Union Township.

1928-1929:  
  • Total number of schools in the county = 26
  • Number of one-room schools = 1
  • Number of commissioned high schools = 11
  • Number of teachers employed in the county = 181

1929-1930:
  • Enrollment in the county grades 7-12 = 1,323
  • enrollment in the county schools grades 1-6 = 2,286
  • Grand total enrollment grades 1-12 = 3,609
  • Crawfordsville enrollment grades K-6 = 1,122
  • Crawfordsville enrollment grades 7-9 = 483
  • Crawfordsville enrollment grades 10-12 = 426
