Formed March 1895

Through the efforts of the graduates of the High School, an Alumni Association has been formed.  A call for a meeting was responded to in March, 1895, by members of the different classes, and a permanent organization was effected, with the following officiers:
Mrs. Lulu Taylor, `91  .............................  President
Sara V. Hanna, `94  .........................  Vice-President
Anna Taylor, `91  ...................................  Treasurer
Maude Allen, `94  ....................................  Secretary
The constitution adopted provides for one annual busines meeting and at least one literary and social festival each year.  For this year an entertainment was given in the Baptist church on Wednesday evening, April 24.  This was followed by the first Annual Banquet, at Alspaugh's.
