ZARING
The funeral of Edward Zaring, the traveling man, who died at his home in Indianapolis, Thursday evening, was held at three o’clock this afternoon at the residence 2045 Broadway, in Indianapolis. The funeral party will arrive here over the Illinois Central at 8:40 tomorrow morning., Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery from the train. Dr. C. H. Taylor will conduct short services at the grave. The pallbearers will be Wall Pauley, Fred Owens, L. D. Rogers, Charles Barnhill, Edward Hall and Munson Atwater. – Bloomington Evening World Sat 24 Feb 1917
ZIKE
Vicki Rae Zike, 78, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024, at Hearthstone Health Campus. She was born on November 13, 1945, in Bloomington to Paul and Norma Culbert. Vicki worked in the medical field for several years. Vicki was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Zike. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Trisha) Zike, Krystal (Joseph) Prince, and Kyle (Amber) Zike, all of Bloomington; along with her grandchildren, Molly, Madison, Maggy, Bradley, Cameron, Colton, Abby, Kenzie, Kendall, and Jesse. Vicki was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking shows, watching Nascar, and reading. She also adored her cats. Visitation will be held at Allen Funeral Home (4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington, IN 47401) on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 4-8pm. The funeral service will be held at Allen Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 11am with an hour of visitation beforehand. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.
