ULAND

Bloomfield - William Uland, 83, of Bloomfield, R. 1, died Tuesday evening at Bloomfield Hospital. A Native of Solsberry, he was born Oct. 14, 1888, the son of William and Alice Johnson Uland. He was a retired railroader and a member of the Solsberry Methodist Church and the Bloomfield IOOF. Survivors are the wife, Faye; Three half-sisters, Mrs. Nellie McDonnell of Indianapolis, Mrs. Maude McCarthy of Jasper, and Mrs. Mary Beatie of Downers Grove, Ill. Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Jenkins Funeral home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Solsberry Cemetery. Mattie Isom Underwood  Born October 7, 1895 in Monroe Co., IN  Died February 24, 1989 in Bloomington, IN  Parents Perry & Sarah (Lynn) Davis  Survived by daughters, Virginia Vanderburg, Iva Marrs & Joan Carmichael; sons, Paul, George & Otis Isom.  Preceded in death by Ola Isom, her first husband and Hol Underwood, her second husband; one son, Irvin Isom and a brother William Davis.  Services at Allen Funeral Home, Rev.
