ISABELLA WOODY - Oath
Isabella Woody upon oath says that she is the owner in fee simple of the following real estate in Fountain County, Indiana towit:
Eight and one hundred eleven - one hundred sixtieths (8 111/160) acres by parallel lines off the south side of the following described real estate: part of the south east quarter of the northeast quarter of section thirty-five, township eighteen, with range eight west, being ten and one hundred eleven - on hundred sixtieths (10 111/160) acres located in the south east corner of said section, that there are no liens or incumbrances of any kind against said real estate except that hereinafter set out, that on July 23, 1898 she executed a mortgage on said real estate, her husband, Thomas Woody joining therein, to Eunice B. Collins, to secure the payment of a note executed by affiant to said Collins in the sum of three hundred twenty five dollars, bearing date of July 23, 1898, falling due July 23, 1901, with 8% interest and attorneys fees. Affiant further says that she has no claim or setoff ? legal or equitable, agains said Collins or said note and mortgage where by the collectin of said note and the foreclosure of said mortgage might be defeated, and that the consideration for the execution of said note and mortgage was the payment by said Collins to affiant of the sum of three hundred twenty five dollars and tat said sum was used by affiant in the payment and satisfaction of a mortgage upon said real estate.
