Covington, Nov 1 – in the divorce case in Fountain circuit court
of Pearl Propes against her husband, Harrison Propes, final hearing was held
and as the husband did not appear the court granted a decree of absolute
divorce and gave the custody of the two children to Mrs. Propes. Final hearing
was had in the divorce suit brought by Pearl Helen Hardaway against Donald
Hardaway as the defendant failed to appear. The court granted the plaintiff a
decree of absolute divorce and restoration of her former name, Propes.
