to Karen Zach from Hazel Marguerite Starkey Smith Norman dated Aug 20, 1975 from 305 S. Braley St, Attica.
Dear Karen:
My sister, Viola Starkey Howard says you are the granddaughter of Hazel Morgan for whom I was named. I loved her dearly. I married Elbert E. Smith in 1933 – Aug 2. He passed away July 25, 1972. On Nov 9, 1974 I married C. Harvey Norman a friend of bother he and his wife for many years. I retired from 41 years teaching in 1972. He retired in 1971. He was my elementary school principal here in Attica. I have no children nor does he. It has been a lovely happy arrangement for us both. I received your card concerning the Barker reunion and the activities sound very interesting and exciting; however I will be unable to attend. Sorry about it!
