JOHN & JULIA EASTER Bible

Ada B. McCarty being duly sworn on oath says that she is a niece of Martha Marshall; that she is the owner and has in her possession a record of the births of the children of John and Julia Ann Easter; that said record consists of two pages purported to have been taken from the family Bible and purported to have been the property of said John and Julia Ann Easter; that the writing on said pages is in long hand and is as follows, to wit:
"Tolbert Easter, 1st son of John and Julia Ann Easter, was born May 25th A. D. 1846
Thomas Westley Easter, 2nd son of John and Julia Ann Easter, was born November 2nd 1848
Mary Virginia Easter, 1st daughter of John and Julia Ann Easter, was born August 14th A. D. 1851
William H. Easter, 4th son of John and Julia Ann Easter, was born April 11th 1853 A. D.
Sarah Easter, was born June the 14th A. D. 1855
Martha Easter, was born December 23rd 1858
Benjamin Franklin Easter, was born September the 6th 1863
.. that said deponent says she has made diligent search for said family Bible but has been unable to locate the same; that she believes said Bible is no longer in existence; that she verily believes said pages contain a true record of the births of said children of said John and Julia Ann Easter
that Martha Marshall's maiden name was Martha Easter and that said pages records the births of said Martha Marshall as being born on December 23rd, 1858, all of which is true to her best knowledge and belief.
