Bryant, Catherine vs. Simeon

A compromise was effected in the divorce suit of Catherine Bryant against Simeon Bryant set for trial Wednesday before Judge Isaac Schoonover of Covington sitting as a special judge. The Bryants, who are respected people of the southern part of Tippecanoe County and well known in the northern part of Montgomery County, agree to live apart.  Mrs. Bryant is given possession of 35 acres of land.  Several minor provisions are contained in the compromise.  Mrs. Bryan twas represented by Johnston & Johnston while Jones & Murphy appeared for Mr. Bryant. Man and wife are past their three score and ten mile stone and had they lived together a few months longer they would have observed their golden wedding anniversary.  Their divorce complaint was filed in January 1908 on the 50th anniversary of their marriage   – kbz.
