ENOCH BOWLING WILL
I, Enoch Bowling of the County of Fountain State of Indiana do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making said all former wills by me at any time before made.
First I ___ that after my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate that Willis Bowling and John Bowling shall have all my real and personal property share and share alike or as they may seem proper to divide it among themselves with the following exceptions. That they shall keep maintain and support comfortably and ___ my wife, Sarah as long as she shall live. Thirdly I direct that each of my daughters Aliza Jane Black, Rebeca Jenkins and Sarah Ann Board shall be paid out of my estate each three hundred dollars as hereafter ___ One hundred dollars apiece annually the first payment to be made Said daughters one year after my decease. And I hereby make and appoint Elijah Board & Thomas Lyons executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I Enoch Bowling the testator have hereunto let my hand and seal this 10th day of July 1852. Enoch Bowling x his mark.
State of Indiana Fountain County – this day personally came before me the undersigned Absalom Reed one of the subscribing witnesses to the within will and being duly sworn on his oath says that he saw Enoch Bowling sign and publish and deliver the within __ as his last will and testament that he was of full age to advise (?) his property of sound mind and memory and under no coercion or ___ whatever at the time of signing the same within his knowledge. Subscribed and sworn to before me this 14th day of Sept AD 1852 – In witness whereof thereunto subscribe under office the __ of said court at Covington this 14th day of September AD 1852 – W Ristine? Written up side – Signed sealed published and declared by the above named Enoch Bowling his last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed in the presence of the said testator and in presence of witnesses thereto in the presence of the said testator and each other
