Thomas Bennett who had been in jail at Covington for some time was given his liberty Saturday on condition that he pay his wife, Edna, a weekly allowance of $8.50. He was warned that any attempt to evade the payments would end disastrously.
Hattie Brewer has filed suit at Covington for divorce from her husband, Archie Brewer charge failure to provide and inability of defendant to keep her as she was accustomed before her marriage. She also asks the custody of her children.
