I'm looking for any information on the NIX family. We could start with James Nix of Perry County (had a house in Cannelton on the river, that is now abandoned from flood damage). He was a prosecutor there and would have been living there at least in the 1920s and later. He was my grandmother’s uncle. She is Bertha Evangeline Splater, and she went to live with him and his family about 1928 after the death of both of her parents  Nora (Nix) Splater and Charles Earl Splater.
