Samuel Main migrated from Pennsylvania to Perry County, Indiana before 1818. Would like figure out the year. He was married first time in Connecticut to Mary Cleveland. Need documentation. Am finding little on him and hoping for help.
MURPHY

I am looking for information on the Abraham Murphy family. Abraham was born in Lincoln County, Virginia (present day Kentucky) in 1790. I have no information as to his parents. He Married Polly Hardin in 1808 in Washington County, Kentucky. I found a reference that in 1817 Abraham and Benjamin Murphy and Anthony Horton moved to Perry County. Early county records show Anthony Horton, Abraham and Benjamin Murphy, on Section 33, Township 4, South, Range 1, West, in 1817.
I was told there might be a Murphy Cemetery northeast of the Horton Cemetery. We have searched the area and discovered an old homestead that is grown over with vegetation. There is an old foundation, caller and well. We also found what appears to be a small graveyard. There are 10 stones set, no writing, in two rows of five.
I am looking for anyone who can shed any light on these Murphy’s. I do not know the relationship of these three men. Any help would be appreciated.
