ALVEY
Submitted by Ivan Corbin 18 June 2013
I am specifically looking for death records for David Davis and his first wife, Charity Redsword. She very likely died sometime between 1853 and 1864. He died sometime after 1876. David and his second wife, Charity Jane Alvey, definitely lived in Anderson Township and many of the Davis were buried on the Davis farm (later Spath farm). It is possible that the first Charity died in Jefferson County where they were until 1860.
ARTMAN, RICHARDS
Submitted by David Artman 10 August 2013
I am looking for leads/information to identify the parents/line and siblings of JAMES HENRY ARTMAN who was born about 1844 in Cannelton, Perry County, IN
and who died in 1927 in Benton, Franklin co, IL. His was father's name was Thomas.
I know about the 1827 Perry co marriage record showing Thomas Artman and Sarah Richards applying for the license. That record is incomplete,
however, as no one returned to record whether and by whom they were actually married.
I am also aware of the 1829 Spencer co marriage of Thomas Artman and Elizabeth Richards, but do not have an image of that record, or of any other
information on that family.
If you have anything that may help, please do. I've hit a wall
