Allen was born in Linden, Montgomery County, Indiana on March 18, 1908 and died on September 18, 1990 at The Indiana Masonic Home, Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana. He was the eldest of six children, all sons, of John Henry Todd (3-13-1884--9-2-1958) and Flora Etta Reynolds Todd (8-20-1888--2-10-1960). Allen was the eldest brother of my father, Francis (Frank") Leverett Todd (12-12-1918--10-7-1984).
