FRANCIS LEVERETT TODD

Francis "Frank" Leverett Todd, born on December 12, 1918 in Jamestown, Boone County, Indiana. He was the fifth of six chlldren, all sons, of John Henry Todd (3-13-1884--9-2-1958) and Flora Etta Reynolds Todd (8-20-1888--2-10-1960). Frank died in Logansport, Cass County, Indiana on October 7, 1984. He is buried in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery on U.S. Highway 24 East, east of Logansport. John and Flora are buried in Paint Creek Primitive Baptist Cemetery, 4 miles east of the little town of Camden, Carroll County, Indiana. John and Flora were married on Feb. 6, 1907 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana. Frank married Evaleen Rosemary Murphy Todd on Feb. 6, 1945, on John and Flora's 38th wedding anniversary. Don't ask me why. No one could ever tell me. Frank was descended from John Henry and Flora. John Henry's parents were John Starnes Todd (others shared this same exact name) and his second of two wives, Mariah Jane Hawkins Todd. John Starnes was descended from Thomas Todd and Sallie Helton Todd, of Heltonville, Lawrence County, Indiana. More history available upon request. Angela Frances Todd (Angie)

TRIVIA: The names of Frank and two of his five brothers, Harvey Allen Todd, Senior, and another John Starnes Todd...Dad's youngest brother...were all recorded on plaques in Logansport's World War ll monument, "The Cass County Roll of Honor" next to the City Building, in downtown Logansport, the county seat of Cass County, Indiana.
