Bourbon and Addie Shaffer Thompson and family

This is an 1886 photo of my Great-Great Grandparents Bourbon and Addie Shaffer Thompson and family. Bourbon was the 8th of 13 children of Thomas and Sarah Talbot Thompson. They were married in 1880 at Clarks Hill in Tippecanoe Co. Their early years were spent in the same general area. By 1900, the census indicated that the family was living in Wingate in Montgomery Co. At this point in time, their children were Charlotte Blanche, age 4 and George Everett about age 1. George is my Great Grandfather. Bourbon and Addie were the proprietors of the Cottage Hotel in Wingate from roughly 1904 until 1909.
