              -- News Index --

What you will find here will be interesting news articles of the area about the people who lived here and their lives.  Not included here are the marriages and obituaries found in the old newspapers of the county; they have their own home.  If you have a news article to submit please send it to Karen.  All submisssions are welcomed and appreciated.

HINT: There is a huge, but sometimes subtle difference between an obituary, funeral notice and death notice. An obituary gives details about a person's life and survivors. Sometimes they will contain the name of the funeral home, when visitation is and where condolences should be sent. A death notice is just that; notification that a person has died and what is being done with the body; and a funeral notice gives details about the funeral, who attended.
