Friday the 24th inst, was the 40th wedding anniversary of John N. Miller and wife. 60 of their neighbors who live in the Black Creek neighborhood remembered them by coming to their home with well filled baskets of good things. A fine gold headed cane was presented to Mr. Miller and an elegant rocking chair to his wife. Mr. Miller was married to Miss Martha Shipp in Shelby County, Indiana Nov 1853 and all those happy years have been spent in Montgomery County.
